Wipro has announced that it has been ranked a leader in telecom R&D services for the third consecutive year in an annual survey conducted by Zinnov Management Consulting Pvt. Ltd, a leading Globalization and Market Expansion Advisory firm.
This recognition reiterates Wipro's leadership in telecom and focus on next-generation technologies such as SDN (Software Defined Network) and NFV (Network Function Virtualization). These technologies enable Wipro to partner with network equipment providers in their endeavour to build Digital Highways, the networks of the future. Wipro was also placed first in Zinnov's Global R&D Service Providers (GSPR) Rating 2013 for the fourth consecutive year.
