Happiest Minds (HM) Technologies has announced the expansion of its Product Engineering Services offerings by launching a new division "Engineering R&D Services". The division will fulfil the needs of Technology Companies from Hardware, Embedded Software and Solutions.
The division will work towards growing the areas of Communications and Networking, Storage/Virtualization, Consumer Electronics and Automotive segments by controlling the existing core strengths of Happiest Minds offerings in the areas of disruptive technologies such as Cloud, Mobility, Big Data Analytics, Social and Unified Communications.
Ashok Soota, Executive Chairman, Happiest Minds Technologies, stated, “Disruptive technologies are impacting the product engineering business and that becomes attractive for Happiest Minds whose foundation is built on it. In the interconnected world with ever-changing needs for devices to be smart, marriage of embedded design with disruptive technologies can create a true product differentiator. We see tremendous opportunity to fill this current void with our new set of offerings.”
Sandeep Agarwal, Senior Vice-President, Happiest Minds Technologies, said that the offerings of the new division will enable the Semiconductor, OEM and Technology Software companies to move up the value chain and stay ahead of the technology curve. The company will provide a complete range of product development to Testing Services covering the entire Product Life cycle in the key verticals identified by Happiest Minds. It will create ready-to-use frameworks and solution accelerators focussing on Internet of Things. They also expect the division to grow quickly and contribute to 15–20% of overall revenues in the coming 4–5 years.
