 Challenges: Narayana Hrudayalaya's ability to keep cost low was put to test when, in 2010, it decided to expand from a 5,000 bed operation to 30,000 beds in five years. It was looking for an IT partner who can offer a robust, scalable and secured IT infrastructure. 

Solution: HCL suggested its blu Enterprise Cloud Solutions to be deployed across 30 hospital centres. The Hospital Information System (HIS) deployed by HCL was on HINAI application developed and maintained by ICT Health. At the back end, for the supply chain activities and the financial accounting Oracle EBS suite was deployed. This was tightly integrated with the front end HINAI applications.
