In a report published in October 2009, Gartner Inc. rated eInfochips as No. 1 chip design service provider worldwide for 2008, based on revenue/design index in the research note "Competitive Landscape: Chip Design Outsourcing Services" (G00171301). eInfochips has obtained a normalized index of 62, leading by far from its nearest competitor.
