The new Acer Iconia tablet lineup combines 5G connectivity, AI-enabled performance, stylus support and productivity-focused accessories, targeting students, professionals and digital creators seeking portable devices for work, entertainment and hybrid learning environments.
Acer India has expanded its tablet portfolio with the launch of the new Iconia 5G tablet series in India, introducing a range of Android-powered devices designed to support productivity, entertainment and mobile connectivity.
The newly launched lineup includes four variants aimed at professionals, students, creators and general consumers looking for high-performance portable computing devices. The company said the tablets are built to deliver faster connectivity, enhanced multitasking and versatile usability for hybrid work and learning environments.
Powered by the MediaTek MT8791 processor and running on Android 15, the new Iconia tablets are designed to handle productivity applications, content consumption and AI-driven tasks efficiently. The chipset features a combination of Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores, along with an integrated Artificial Intelligence Processing Unit capable of supporting edge-AI applications.

The company said the AI capabilities are intended to improve on-device responsiveness and enable faster execution of AI-supported functions without relying heavily on cloud-based processing.
Focus on display, connectivity and entertainment
The Iconia series features an 11.45-inch 2.2K IPS display with a resolution of 1440 × 2200 pixels and brightness support of up to 450 nits. Acer said the in-cell touch panel enhances responsiveness while also supporting stylus-based inputs for tasks such as digital sketching, note-taking and design work.
The tablets are equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, with expandable memory support up to 1TB through microSD cards. Connectivity remains a major focus for the series, with support for 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
Additional features include GPS functionality, an 8MP front camera for video calls, and a rear camera setup comprising a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP macro lens. The devices also feature a fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button for biometric security.
Acer has equipped the tablets with stereo speakers and a 7400mAh battery supporting fast charging, aiming to provide extended usage for streaming, gaming and virtual collaboration.
Productivity accessories enhance hybrid work experience
The company is also positioning the Iconia range as a productivity-focused device through support for optional accessories such as an active stylus with 4096 pressure sensitivity levels and a keyboard cover connected through POGO pins.
Commenting on the launch, Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer at Acer India, said, “Tablets today are expected to go beyond entertainment and enable productivity, creativity, and seamless connectivity in a hybrid world. The Iconia series has been a key pillar in Acer’s tablet portfolio, and with the new Iconia iM11-22M5G variants, we are strengthening that proposition further. These devices are designed to deliver a balanced experience with strong performance, an expansive display, dependable connectivity, and productivity-enhancing accessories such as a stylus and keyboard support. Built to cater to evolving user needs, from learning and remote work to on-the-go creativity, the new range reflects Acer’s continued focus on bringing meaningful innovations that elevate everyday digital experiences.”
The Acer Iconia Tablet iM11 will be available through Acer exclusive stores, the company’s online platform, Amazon and Flipkart, with prices starting at Rs 25,499.
